SINGAPORE – Helping family firms stay afloat in a competitive market contradicts a capitalism tenet that promotes the survival of the fittest, but the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry has set out to do just that.
Preserving such companies is one of the chamber’s priorities for the next three years, president Roland Ng said during a ceremony in March when he was elected to continue in his role for a second term.
